critical situation. The caravan glides superbly and handles like one of its small sisters. She climbs like a home sick angel and with a pair of skilled hands, will get into just about any 'landing site'. The aeroplane is also built like a brick outhouse.
What on earth do the CAA think is so risky about this fantastic and very safe aeroplane. This is a question posed by someone who has nervously tried a go around in a light twin on 'minima' with an eagle eye on the blue line and wondering if I would want to try it for real. I had a good friend who tried it at Glasgow and paid the price. I wonder if he had not had the option (that isn't really an option) ie he had been in a caravan with its tank like qualities and the donkey had packed in (which is statistically very unlikely anyway)would he and the others on board lived. I THINK SO!
GET THIS AEROPLANE IN THE AIR WHERE IT BELONGS, EARNING FOR ITS INVESTORS AND ALLOWING SMALL COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS AND SMALL AIRFIELDS TO COMPETE. I WISH THIS SITE AND ALL INVOLVED GOOD LUCK!
